Bushcraft Courses - Wilderness Training

Beyond Survival

Graeme Wood, the leader of Magellan Explorer Unit, runs regular Bushcraft courses that are open to any members of the Scout Movement who are 14 years old or over. The courses are designed to be challenging but fun, fairly intensive but very worthwhile. Trained over the past few years by Ray Mears and his team of instructors, Juha Rankinen, Andy Wood and Lawrence Clark, Graeme has learned extensive Bushcraft skills and is now in the position to be able to pass his knowledge on to others.

The course he offers will teach you the skills needed to use mother nature without abusing her, to live in harmony with the country and respect it. The skills taught on these courses will help you see things differently, it will awaken your senses, help you see how our ancestors lived, but most of all it will empower you to want to go further, to know more, to get back to nature.
